Semax

Semax is a synthetic peptide analog of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), consisting of the fragment ACTH(4-7) with an added Pro-Gly-Pro sequence for stability. Developed in Russia and approved there for clinical use, Semax has been studied for neuroprotective, nootropic, and neurorestorative effects. Research has shown it increases BDNF and NGF expression, modulates dopaminergic and serotonergic systems, and has demonstrated protective effects in ischemic brain injury models.
